BeeDEX with the product named BeeFi is a DEX aggregator exchange. It aggregates liquidity across BNB Chain, constantly monitoring and comparing various available cryptocurrency pairs supported by different exchanges, allowing users to enjoy world class experience with the best swap rate.
Challenges
BeeDEX aims to provide users with the best possible swap rates by pooling liquidity from various DEXs operating on the BSC network. However, several challenges stood in the way of achieving this aim as an efficient DEX aggregator exchange:
– Complex & vulnerable smart contracts: DEX aggregators require intricate smart contract logic for trade routing and token handling.
– Inefficient data & routing: Aggregating real-time data from multiple DEXs to find optimal trades is computationally intensive. Efficient data fetching, processing, and routing are essential to minimize latency.
– Poor user interface/experience: Presenting complex trade information (routes, prices, slippage) clearly is vital. The UI must be responsive and handle real-time updates effectively.
Solutions
To ensure that BeeDEX can tackle the aforementioned challenges, Hola Tech adhered to the best practices. Key components of the solution included:
– Secure smart contract infrastructure: Hola Tech developed a secure and efficient smart contract system using Move/Rust, incorporating rigorous testing and auditing processes. This ensured the robust handling of trade routing and token management while minimizing vulnerabilities.
– Efficient data aggregation and routing: Hola Tech implemented a high-performance data aggregation and routing solution, leveraging The Graph for efficient DEX data indexing and Lambda/NodeJS for scalable trade route computation. This system optimized trade execution and reduced latency.
– Intuitive user interface: Hola Tech designed a user-friendly ReactJS interface that simplifies the complexities of DEX aggregation. The platform provides clear visualizations of trade routes, price comparisons, and real-time market data, enhancing the overall user experience.
